On a blistering mid-summers day, the Osaka sun shone bright. Visitors from all around the world cowered under trees, fans ablaze, hats and shirts covering every last part of their bodies. I was looking forward to visiting the famed Osaka Castle, but didn't realise it was such a popular attraction, nor one that would have a line of over 100m to buy tickets. Standing and waiting in a line in that sun? No. Thank. You. I called my friends, scattered around the grounds in various sun-protected and air conditioned locations. ' Should we go up to the castle?' I asked. ' the lines too long! It's too hot!' they said. And that's where Headout saved the day. 'I got this. Meet me at the front.' 2 minutes later, using the super easy and effective Headout website, we were in the castle. We'd skipped the line. We'd avoided waiting in the heat. We'd walked right in into one of Japan's most popular attractions. Unreal. I cannot recommend Headout more, wherever you might be going.

Osaka Castle tickets worked 100% without any effort. For the Expo you need to register for EXPO first, then add the ticket ID provided by Headout in order to get a QR code. You will need to give them a entry dat and time, whitout this, you'll get no QR code. Stupid system by EXPO I think, but it needs to be explained a lot better by Headout. Once the process is done properly there will be no trouble entering the EXPO side. All in all, really great service by Headout, we saved a lot of money on tickets for both events!

Excellent value. Easy to use once you realise that you use the train / facilities ticket for the principle attractions, not just the train. Only problem is that the QT code is only valid for use for 1 minute after loading, which is easily reset, but we did come to one station where there was no mobile or WiFi coverage which is needed each time to generate the codes

There were probably few other things I'm sure we missed. I would have loved to do the Jurassic Park ride, but this attraction was not available. But I was able to do quite a few attractions. The other Jurassic Park attraction (for the faint of heart), Family Spy (I loved it), Jaws (I was transported back to my childhood), Harry Potter (mind-blowing). I chose not to do the Nintendo part, because even with the timed entry system, the waiting time on some attractions was 2 hours or more.

I loved the park! I was really excited to visit since I traveled all the way from Chile, and one of the main attractions I was looking forward to was the Super Mario World and the Jurassic Park section. Unfortunately, I had to leave the park due to the tsunami warning. I have lost family members to tsunamis in the past, and I couldn’t handle the pressure. I truly hope to return one day and enjoy the full experience of the park.

It was very busy and I didn't get into many of the exibits, however full marks for the way it was created. Lived the escalator taking you up to the walkway which gave you a great view of everytbing. The issue was that it was difficult to find the 10 digit code on the ticket and so I called up headout from my event which was in Japan. I waited for someone to answer while on hold and then it hung up on me. I called back and it did the same thing. Everybody else in line had a QR code to immediately get in but I didn't have anything so was very concerned. When I finally go to the front of the line, they took me into the office and validated that code, so I eventually did get in.

I had not reserved any exibits in advance, and I suggest one does if there is any particulare ones you want to see. The waiting times for some where up to 2 hours standing in line. That's not for me. However, I spent my time seeing exhibits of smaller nations and watched the hordes of people. walk by. There are not a lot of places where one might see such a mixture of the human species on full exposure. It was a great experience and the Headout app worked well, excpect with one issue. I bought 2 days of one person tickets and neither one ever had a barcode to use. I had to go the a special office near tthe entance to the World Expo so they could manually print me my barcode on paper. Without it, you don't get in.

The performances, the architecture, the vibes were cool. Additional things I didn't like - I also didn't like how confusing everything was - it was very hectic and unorganized in a lot of places and it was hard to get good photos due to people walking in the way. Steps to get access to Osaka Expo 2025:

Read this guide to know how to redeem your 10-digit expo code, reserve admission and pavilion access.
Get your voucher (10-digit alphanumeric code) from your Headout voucher by downloading your ticket .
Log in or sign up for a free Expo ID account on the Expo 2025 website here.
Log in to your Expo ID account on the Expo 2025 website and link your Headout tickets by clicking on ‘additional ticket registration’. If you have purchased multiple tickets, you can input each code, one after the other. Up to 10 tickets can be added with one account.
Reserve the date and time of your visit on the Expo website which will generate a QR code. You can save or print the QR code for easy access when you visit the Expo.
Reserve access to the pavilions you want to visit and events in advance using the Expo website or the app. If you have multiple tickets, you can reserve together for your group so you all have the same slot. Use on-site reservation kiosks if you couldn’t book ahead.

Free for children aged 0-3
Children aged 3 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The validity of a ticket is 60 days after purchase.
Children and youths aged 4-17 can purchase discounted tickets. It can be purchased on-site at the ticket office.
Operating hours are 9am - 10pm daily (the last entry is at 9:30pm).

Osaka Expo:

Osaka Expo 2025 ticket is valid for a single entry on your selected date.
Get the 10-digit alphanumeric ticket ID on your Headout voucher once you download the ticket.
Log in or sign up for a free Expo ID here.
Once logged in, navigate to ‘Additional Ticket Registration’ and enter your Headout ticket ID(s). If you have multiple tickets, you can register up to 10 per account.
Choose your preferred date and time slot on the Expo website to generate a QR code. Save or print this code for entry.
Reserve spots for pavilions and events in advance via the Expo website or app. For groups, you can book slots together to visit at the same time. If you miss pre-booking, you can use the on-site kiosks for last-minute reservations.
