What’s not allowed

  • The pass is valid only for foreign tourists on a short-stay visa; not available to Japanese passport holders. The pass is for one person only and cannot be shared.
  • JR lines, Randen (Keifuku Railroad), Hieizan Sakamoto Cable, and some other trains are not covered; buses are excluded.
  • Using the pass illegally will lead to invalidation, collection, and additional fare charges under the transport company's regulations.
  • Passes cannot be refunded once exchanged or if services are suspended by a transport company.

Accessibility

  • The trains are wheelchair and stroller/stroller accessible.

Additional information

  • Separate fees apply for limited express reserved seats on Nankai, Kintetsu, Hankyu, Keihan, and other lines.
  • Extra fares apply if you travel outside the designated validity zone. Be sure to check with station staff before boarding.
  • Carry your pass carefully and avoid placing it near magnets (like smartphone cases) as this may damage the strip.
  • If the magnetic strip fails, the pass can be reissued at major stations, but lost passes will not be replaced.
  • You may be asked to present the back of your pass when traveling on some transportation company routes.

Accessibility

  • The trains are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.
  • Use the QR code at automatic ticket gates; at stations without gates, staff assistance or intercom use may be needed and may take extra time.

Additional information

  • The pass is a boarding ticket valid for standard train cars; Limited Express trains require a separate Limited Express ticket.
  • If traveling outside the valid area, the regular fare must be paid separately.
  • Multiple tickets purchased in one transaction will activate together and cannot be used separately.
  • Refunds are only available through the purchasing website if unused and before the validity period ends.
  • Children under 6 ride free if not occupying a seat.
