#My visit to Universal Studios Japan was excellent from start to finish. One thing that helps a lot is the ease of getting there by public transportation: you can take the train to Universal City Station, and from there it's a short, well-marked walk to the entrance, which makes the day much more convenient (especially for tourists).
Even though I went on a very busy Saturday, I found the operation to be very organized: clear queue guidance, efficient staff, and a flow that allows you to enjoy the park more. In terms of attractions, Hollywood Dream – The Ride was one of the highlights of the day — fun, intense, and with that "flying" sensation that makes you want to do it again.
The Harry Potter area is also incredibly immersive: the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction combines scenery and movements with visual effects/projections that make everything feel very real, and it is easily one of the most memorable experiences in the park.
Another highlight was the shopping and souvenirs: it's very easy to find really cool and "collectible" items from the characters, especially from the Mario universe (including the Mario Café & Store) and Harry Potter — perfect for taking home souvenirs that aren't generic.
And the themed restaurants complete the experience: eating inside the worlds makes a difference in the immersion. In Harry Potter, the Three Broomsticks puts you right in the mood of the movie; and in the Mario universe, Kinopio's Café is fun, themed, and becomes part of the tour, not just "a break to eat."
Overall, it was a very full day, with strong attractions, impeccable ambiance, and organization that stands out even on busy days. I would go back without thinking twice.

Although the weather was cold and the crowds at a mass, I thoroughly enjoyed my day at Universal studios Japan. The park management, efficiency, and enthusiasm really made everything so enjoyable. Highly recommend even at the base rate!

Entering after 3pm was not permitted for Osaka pass holders which meant it was for individual customers only. Instructions to redeem the tickets were very clear. I also checked Klook but it worked out to be minutely cheaper this way

We went there around 3pm and stay until sunset time which is at 4:50pm. We enjoyed the 45 second light show in the lift and also the fresh cold air from level 58 cafe. Overall, it was amazing to have a 360 view of Osaka city and learn about some famous landmarks.

The walk through the Botanical Garden with the Team Lab light up was really neat. My family enjoyed the walk and the cool light demonstration. Team Labs in Tokyo was way more interactive but this was very pretty and neat to see.
